Bröllop i Tidaholm
I remember like it was yesterday when I met Catrin and Johannes in their beautiful stylish home. Sipping coffee, and chatting with excitement about their big day. Suddenly Catrin’s dad walks in and we quickly discover that both him and I share a common childhood language – Bulgarian. Ha! It’s not often that I get to speak my mother-tongue in Sweden, let alone with the father of the bride. What an awesome surprise 🙂
The wedding was to take place in the local church of Sweden followed by the reception in the town’s library. One thing that struck me about Johannes and Catrin was that they were up for anything, easy going and you just know that their wedding day will certainly be fun, creative and filled with emotion.
The wedding day
I love capturing the wedding day from morning till dusk. It really allows for the whole story to unfold before our eyes. Catrin getting her hair and make up done, the bridesmaids giggling and having fun as the minutes race towards that “first look” moment. So much excitement in the air. We headed towards an idilic little spot by the river Tidan where Johannes was already waiting for his bride to appear.
I often catch myself smiling from ear to ear, or even shedding a tear as I see the love unfolding before me. I mean how could you remain indifferent when you become witness to one of the most beautiful things in life. The two became one!
What a stunning couple, beaming with love for one another. And did a mention that they also have 3 adorable kids who totally stole the hearts of many with their cuteness.
Check out the highlights from their beautiful day!
