About the Photoshoot
I will plan the session, guide you on posing and take various types of photos. I always try to do my very best to meet your requests, but due the dynamics of your particular event, I reserve the right to make exceptions. If you have specific preferences on the type of photos or specific style of editing, please let me know during our pre-wedding consultation. Please arrive on time for your shoot to avoid delays that may result in the session being shorter than planned. If I were to suffer an acute illness, require hospitalization or something serious happens to me or a member of my immediate family, I reserve the right to cancel the photoshoot and repay back all amounts paid. In the unlikely event of this happening I will try my best to find an equivalent replacement photographer.
Every wedding package includes the following:
– Complimentary pre-wedding (engagement) photoshoot for the bride and groom, where possible.
– Inspection of portrait sites, church and reception venue (where possible).
– Wedding day photography coverage according to agreed number of contiguous hours
– Online digital gallery for your high-resolution JPEG files (please note that RAW or unedited files are not provided and remain the property of Ivo Photography).
Payment / Cancellation
The photography session is considered booked when a deposit fee of 25% of the total amount is paid. The remaining cost is to be paid no later than 30 days before the wedding. The booking fee is not refundable if the client cancels the photoshoot. The client is deemed to have accepted these terms upon payment of the booking fee. If final payment is not paid on the specific date, Ivo Photography has no further liability to the client.
The client agrees to cover the cost of airfare, car rental or train/bus tickets as well as the cost of accommodation in a local hotel.
After the Photoshoot
When the photoshoot is over I begin work on image selection, processing and editing. I make a selection of images that will be delivered to the client within 6 weeks (it may take longer if the wedding occurs during the high season). The client will receive a password protected gallery to view and download all your beautiful images. If you book a Medium or Max package, it will take an additional 2 weeks to select the best pictures from the day and to design your customized Wedding Book Album. After the album is ready to be printed it will be sent to you 10-15 days later, depending on the season or off-season time frames.
How many photos do you deliver?
On an average around 400 to 600 images for a full 10-12 hour day.
You have full right of use of the photos for your own private usage. If you publish photos online or on social media I would like you to write that the photos were taken by Ivo Photography. If you wish to change something in the pictures please get in touch with me first. It is not permitted to sell the images or submit them for competitions and the like.
Ivo Photography reserves the right to use the images in my own marketing or own projects, such as exhibitions, book publishing, marketing materials, portfolio, blog, Facebook page, Instagram, cards, brochures, price lists etc., unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of booking. If there are any images you feel are not suitable for publishing, I will, of course, respect your privacy! It is important to me that you feel happy and respected. Feel free to talk to me about this before or during the photoshoot.
Ivo Photography will aim to back up and preserve the digital image files for a period of one year from the date of delivery unless there are unforeseen events outside of my control.
